INFLUENCE
joseph charroy
The starting point of this book is the hexagram 31 of the I-Cjhing (the book of transformations). The I-Ching occupies a fundamental place in the history of Chinese thought and can be considered as a unique treatise whose purpose is to describe the states of the world and their evolution. Hexagram 31 is translated by the emotion or the influence and means to attract, to call, to invite. The emotion is the instantaneous, it describes the triggering of the disorder: something erupts suddenly, calls us, and we are touched before being able to intervene. The instant forces us to leave ourselves to participate in what is going on.
